How I Started...
I have always wanted to capture the moments as time passes so that the memories would last forever. I worked at Bestbuy in the media department for roughly 5 years during and after college. In that time, I tinkered with the cameras as I was trying to sell them. It was not until I started my career that I became more involved with photography. Due to work travel, I decided to pick up my first DSLR camera to document my trips. What better way to travel and see the states, than do it for free through work?
I started out with my very first bundle pack from Best Buy, which included a Canon T2i body, Sunpack Aluminum tripod, various filters, carry bag, Canon EF-S 18-55 mm lens, and Canon EF-S 50-250 mm lens. As I became more proficient with my gear, a good friend upgraded my camera body to the Canon 60D. It was then I started to buy better glass. I purchased the Canon 17-55 mm f/2.8 lens and the Tokina 11-16 mm f/2.8. Eventually, I got into wedding photography and decided to, yet again, upgrade to a full frame Canon 5D Mark III body. I added the Canon EF 24-70 mm II f/2.8, Canon EF 70-200 mm II f/2.8, Canon EF 16-35 mm f/2.8, Canon EF 100 mm f/2.8 prime and Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II prime to my lens collection and acquired a Manfrotto CF CX190 Pro 3 Tripod with a Really Right Stuff BH-55 Ball Head.
While I mainly focus on landscape photography, I have expanded into portrait, engagements, weddings, real estate, cars etc. I always look forward to the next adventure and will live life like there is no tomorrow. I like stepping out of my comfort zone to experience something new. This is why I decided to call my website "The Bucket List" and hopefully, it will inspire you to add some of these locations to your bucket list. Please join the forum where it discusses traveling tips, hidden locations, and favorite "must-see" destinations.
